She talks a lot about a certain male coworker. My reaction so far is to ignore her and continue the conversation.

Example

John said something really funny today.

Oh yeah? What?

Tells me the joke

Yeah that's pretty funny.

It's just an example. It happens a lot lately. Like John bought this, John did that and my reaction is always like the example above.

Now my question. Is this a shit test or a comfort test? Does she want to know if I take her for granted? How would you respond to that?
