so I'm just getting out of a super long term relationship and I just went out to sarge alone for the first time in ages.

The strangest thing happened though. I was being approached by girls left and right which was amazing: I was getting drinks, lots of attention, etc. but as soon as I tried to escalate after lots of reinforcement and mutual kino, bam brick wall.

First bar: walk in, grab beer, girl instantly walks up to me and starts leaning into me. We talk for a while and then she goes around with other guys and when I lean in to kiss she consistently leans away saying she was committed. I think alright whatever shit happens. Leave to maintain frame and not to appear needy.

So I'm walking home and these two random girls approach me and drag me to another bar. They buy me a beer and then again when I try to escalate after mutual kino and ass-grabbing BAM BRICK WALL. I leave confused as shit and anyway my goal was just to work on approaches tonight.

What my question is: what am I doing wrong? If girls approach me, that means I cannot be ugly and we express interest in each other. If I'm not ugly, why do they refuse to escalate after establishing that rapport?

Am I just socially retarded because of long-term relationship (too much bragging whereas real alphas don't brag about their shit)? Do I look a lot uglier after 15 mins (lol)? Do I just need to take super initiative and just grab them and kiss them forcefully regardless of what they seem to want (inb4 rape)? Do I need to become better at just overcoming objections and work on my game? Am I too thin to be seen as a serious prospect?

TL;DR: Amazing openings, great rapport, brick wall during further escalation. What the fuck is going on?

EDIT 2: Conclusions Not physically dominant enough, not going for the neck, not taking initiative, not overcoming objections. Think I know what I need to work on.
