TL;DR After going to a party and having my friends wives pay ALOT of attention to me, my wife reacts in unusual ways. Not sure if a sudden illness is a comfort test or not.

Been on the pill for about a month now. Working out, Diet, Taking charge, Reading NMMNG, etc..

I've seen some subtle changes, mostly in her general attitude. She was of course a bit pouty the first few times I didn't cave in and do whatever she wanted, but it seems like she's easing into the idea that I'm the leader now.

ANWAY: We went to a 4th of July party saturday. I decided to practice my "flirting skills" on my friends wives. I had no intention of doing anything but having fun and it worked REALLY well. Both of the gals were laughing and talking to me all night. Both of them touched my arm more than once. Now as I said, I had zero intention of letting things go any farther, but I'm fairly certain gina tingles were in the air.

My wife didn't really seem to react. At least not in a way I could detect. She went home before I did, and left without really saying goodbye. The next morning she acted pouty that I "didn't say goodbye" before she left. I just replied "well you kinda disappeared on me" and that was the end of it. no further pouting.

Last night I decided to sleep in my man cave, I like to sleep in there sometimes just randomly. When I got up this morning it turns out she had been up all night throwing up. Probably from something she ate. I think she's actually sick, but It seems like she is laying it on pretty thick about how bad she's feeling, which makes me think it's a comfort test.

I cancelled my plans for the night so I could go home and take care of her. I'm actually OK with doing this, because I want her to know that she CAN count on me when she needs it. I think it's important that she knows that she's a priority. I'm just curious at what point I'll need to cut the sympathy off.

I'll be very interested to see what happens.
