I was reading the rational male when this interesting extract popped:
“The sexual alphaness of a male towards a female is exhibited by her wanting to please him, and the sexual betaness of a male is exhibited by him needing to please her.”

Now to me this suggests that a LTR upgrade is always on the beta scale. Women ask for commitment, not men. If a man was enjoying all the benefits without comitment, there is no need. If the female values the alpha she will not demand her wants from him.

Thoughts?

Would it instead indicate that a relationship should be on the alphas terms, and not because she wants it? Any time a woman even HINTS at wanting a relationship or commitment, doesnthat mean views that man as somewhat beta?
