It was the first real wedding in my immediate family (as in first cousins etc). We are a traditional family, and a bit religious. We are from the Med in europe, so we have ways of doing weddings, traditions etc etc.

My first cousin got married to her highschool sweetheart. They are both 25 and have been together since 17.

He is no doubt, 100% batting way above his level. He is a classic beta bux. Big boned (fat) not the most attractive guy, simple basic nice guy. Very dull. She is very attractive, good family, bit of a bitch but never slept about, good girl.

In theory they are made for eachother but some observations I made at this wedding tieing in with the red pill made me change my opinion on modern day marriage. Often with free booze etc, you'd have fun, yet in this case it was the most boring, pathetic piece of crap I've ever seen. Maybe Ive been spoilt by other weddings being more of a laugh in my family/close friends, but this was dogshite. Here are my observations from the entire day:

  1. Weddings are for her, not for him - Simple. There is an article about this on ROK.com. Its all about her. How pretty she looks, how shes the queen, how she gets whatever she wants, how everything goes her way bla bla bla. Pathetic. As if their fucking ego's need to be bigger. This very attractive cousin of mine thought the sun shone right out of her ass. No humble thanks, no appreciation. Just "how do I look," this and that. Mutual bond my fucking arse.

  2. High school or very long term LTRs will fuck up your social circle - The boring beta groom had hardly ANY friends. Hes an accountant (obviously) so therefore he has obviously dedicated his entire youth to being with her. Her the same. There was one table for friends, but pathetic. Literally devoting your entire life showed they had no real friends or connection with anyone young. In fact for two 25 year olds getting married, it was more like a pensioners dinner and dance.

  3. Hate to say it, sometimes the grass isnt greener - Ok, this may come out wrong but in the beginning the family were against her marrying her beta man, as he comes from a slightly opposing background to us. Call it a Israel/palestine sort of relationship but not that. Let me tell you, at the wedding our side was dancing, joyous, happy, drinking. The otherside miserable, boring, no talk, no dance, no drinking. Hate to say it, but thats what my dumbass cousin has married into. So make your bed and fucking lie in it.

  4. The speeches highlight the inner beta - I mean, the speeches just for me make me want to jump off a bridge. "Love of my life" or "I knew she was the only girl for me" when he hasnt been with anybody else. Its like setting himself up for failure. I felt sorry for him. Yes shes trophy, but she wears the trousers. Fucking no balls. I'd love to see a wedding speech where guy goes "you know what, I fucked about, I got a lot of poon. I did some crazy shit. Then I met her, because shes hot, shes loyal and not a cunt."

  5. Boring wedding means boring people = boring life - I just cant emphasise how bored and embarassed I was for this shambles of a wedding. They are boring fuckers, who will live a boring life, but its like seeing into the future. You can only just see the arguements, the disagreements, the moment when that beta thinks he cannot take another day of nagging, or going to the cinema for the 70000th time. Some fucking life....some fucking life...

EDIT: I decided to bulletpoint these instead, purely because its just a joke. It was the clearest indication that TRP is in fact right. It was an indication that in modern times women are marrying men to get this glamorous party that ends up just looking tacky. Getting married young is fucking idiotic. The grass is not greener and being a lil rebel will only get you so far. That standing up and telling everyone how amazing your snowflake is embarassing. And how a boring wedding leads to no doubt an even more boring life.
