Im 19 and ive was single for a year so I asked a college classmate that's a female friend to set me up with a cute girl. She set me up and I got the girls number and we texted for 2 weeks. Everytime we texted she always wanted my full attention and even got upset if she had to wait for me to reply. She even told me she was bipolar(moodswings).

That Friday of the second week I asked her to go out to grab pizza with me before quarantine got in full effect!Let me say this now this female didn't look anything like the pictures she took. This female was chubby and face was ugly. The only reason she looked somewhat attractive was because she was young and snapchat filters. 

I didn't want to turn her back after she came all this way to meet me so we went on the "date"  Now listen i'm a guy that's on his purpose Im a good looking guy, my body is fit and i'm going to college for a 6 figure job. If i date this girl my value would be going down and hers would go up.

Let me skip to the part that was fucked up, the pizza came and I was getting a slice, we were talking and I heard this female say " you're gonna have to wait 6 months because i'm pregnant".  I thought this was a joke so i pretended to not hear this, then she said "can't say i never told you".

When I heard that everything started to make sense. The reason why she was chubby and being bipolar(moodswings), She even asked me once what would you do if you got a girl pregnant and i told here if it was my child i would take responsibility and another time i heard her little brother say "is that your ex on the phone" followed by her shushing her brother.

So after the date i found out a close friend died so i told her and my friend that i'm not ready for a relationship right now and guess what they both said to me!!!! "I wasted her time" 

What do you women think? I really want to see how others veiw this situation. Was i wrong for ghosting?
