If all women are "hypergamous by nature" then why do some women not date or choose to pursue professions over marriage? Does AWALT not apply here? What about when women marry that make less money or stay with a man that loses his job or becomes disabled? It looks like there's some individuality and AWALT doesn't quit fit.
