I'm 5'9", so slightly outside your bracket, but I do plenty fine. Rather than delving into anything I do or guys I know who are slightly shorter than me do, I'll leave you with this:

We all want things in life, and we all idealize those things. Some want a fancy car, a huge house, a nice tractor, it doesn't matter. When we picture those things, we picture them flawless.

When it comes time to get that idealized, perfect house--we're faced with an issue. That house doesn't exist because only real houses exist, not imaginative perfect ones. Maybe you pictured a 6,000 sq. ft 4-story home by a secluded lake with a perfect 5 acre yard. But... the closest thing to that you can find, that you can also afford, is only 5,500 sq. ft, only partially secluded, and it only has 4 acres.

Do you find a completely different home with none of the things you wanted, or do you settle for this home that "checks most of the boxes"?

People are content to take the closest thing to what they want that they can get. Alright, so you're a little short--that's your flaw. But that's one characteristic about you. Tall--that's one thing you're not. The woman for whom that's a deal-breaker, for whom height is a huge part of their "dream," their idealized man--they're not options for you.

But what can you be? Well, everything else. You can reach your peak in every single other category, and be everything any woman wants, except tall. There are plenty, plenty of women who will take that trade-off.

The only thing you cannot do is not offer anything else. They still need a reason to want you. Lacking that, you won't ever be chosen. Why would you be? Why would you deserve to be? You wouldn't. But if you offer everything they want besides height, many, many women will overlook it. The rest? They shouldn't exist to you.

I always found real life easier than the apps to be honest. On apps you get hit with “how tall are you” as soon as you make any progress. Irl, it’s not an issue, so long as they’re not blind anyway.

Try wearing insoles to appear taller. Many people here will be against it but height does matter.
