I'm 43 and women were hitting the wall as young as 24 when I was young.

My dad is in his 70s and he told me when I was young that women over 24 tend to go downhill really quickly so always look at their mother and aunts and older sisters/cousins to see what might happen to them.

This is nothing new.

You're talking about the ceiling of decline.

Yes ease of validation is one. Makes more women hit the wall. But doesn't make women hit wall earlier because the wall is time-based, the time when they want to settle down. They overvalue themselves and reject good men.

Yes image editing is one. It's real bad what they do with image editing. I have seen many women who look ok or even beautiful on facebook and then look like an absolute mess in real life being overweight and unhealthy.

Yes it is society on decline when people are actively telling you and encouraging you that bad things are good for you. "Oh being fat is good and there's nothing bad about it"

No.
The desire for stability and nesting is ALWAYS there. It's presence doesn't imply the wall.
The wall is a somewhat sudden perception that their time is running out and they won't be able to nest anymore, which prompts women to overvalue one's willingness to nest when looking for the next partner.
Lots of guys think the wall halts hypergamy. It doesn't. Wall women OVERVALUE willingness to nest in men. When attraction happens, they drip wet and crave the cock all the same.

Society on decline?

Define "decline".
It's obvious that the values christianity preaches aren't necessary for civilization, but loosing them obviously implies in changing a society built upon them.

They never were able. The natural behavior is a bit like, they love Chad with all their hearts tonight. On the morning Chad goes hunting and at night they love Brad with all their hearts, Chad is gone.
Until they feel pregnant, in which case they'll try to get Jack to stay. If Jack leaves, they try to get the next one to stay until they get Billy the Beta to stick around.

It's not like the natural behavior is choosing one to invest. Women are naturally pursued, their interest is fickle. Men pursue and must swoon women into sex, which prompts us to over-investing and oneitis. Hence the need to always maintain abundance.
