So I have always had this issues where I have felt the need to measure myself against others. Respectively this is a natural phenomenon that has been experienced for millennia due to the competition for mates/food. However in modern times this has become a comparison between the materialistic and mental assets that others have, simply to measure how well our lives stack up against others.

My issue comes when I analyze why it is that I measure myself against others. I've discovered that in my constant self-reflecting, I've missed out on bettering myself for my own personal gain. Rather it seems I am only do things to advance myself in being better than others. More specifically, this issue relates more to my struggle to have relationships/FWB's/Hookups with girls because as I constantly measure myself against them, I lower myself more into the idea that they are better than me. Some of these reasons that this occurs are as follows: They have the CHOICE to be with me, when I only have the WANT for them to be with me; Most of the girls I go after are college graduates in my field of work (Healthcare/medicine) and I hold only lower credentials so I appear lesser to them; I constantly apply "desperation" tactics when it comes to women because I have rare interactions with them. so you can see the overall picture of what my issue is.

I've only recently discovered TRP and its respective SRs, and I've read some eye-opening literature already, but I am looking for some community help with my issue. Also along with the issues with the opposite sex, I would also like to dwell deeper into some of the "Beta to Alpha self-help" and some of the "Confidence Building" strategies as well.

Thanks for all who input.
