It happens. People that don't want to do self improvement get left behind. Invite them out from time to time but little by little you will remember why you left them. Some may ask for help, some may hate you.

Otherwise meet people doing what you like the most. Build your network. Socialise with everyone

Yeah, I've recently decided that I don't want to drink at all anymore. It affects my recovery way too much. But that doesn't mean you can't go out and enjoy yourself.

You don't have to completely dismiss all of your old friends. Do work on making new friends who share your interests, though.
