Long term girlfriend in Manchester for two - nine week blocks for work - should I end the relationship?

My girlfriend has been assigned to Manchester for two ten week blocks.

I value the relationship, I'm in a fantastic position personally and we have great chemistry relationship wise and sexually.

​

She's been voluntold to do two ten week blocks for her consulting job - it's very likely to be the only work travel she has to do and enables her to get a promotion to her dream role.

​

On the other hand, I think LDR are cancer and I'm thinking of ending the relationship.

​

I don't like nor enjoy long distance relationships despite having done so (I've traveled for business but usually for a month or so). I do also want to convey I want her to pursue her dreams as I have attained mine professionally in my 20's.

That said, this is reasonably long and for me borders on the point that I have to ask, should I end it immediately?

I wanted to see the insights of other men and share their perspective - **how many weeks constitutes an LDR?**

Her details are 26 HB8 UX designer, I'm her second lay (according to her statement).

​

My details 31, 5'11, fit, Director in Finance (earn around $270-300k). I've had half dozen plates and can find solid wife material without too much effort regionally (Mormons).

We live in Utah (/ though I'm in NY for a few months of the year for 2 week businesstrips); she lives with her family (not super religious but very wholesome family).
