More detail: she's a waitress at a small restaurant/chip shop I frequent. And I'm a 20 year old kissless virgin. I was socially inept in school, to the point where I may as well not have been there, but I'm trying to turn my life around.

Lately I've been giving IoIs, and she seems to respond in turn. I smile at her, and she smiles back. I make a short conversation during the order, and she seems alright with talking. We're similar age, and I don't see other guys like me in there, even at weekends.

I have been going there by myself lately, and she seems to be into me. The smiles she gives aren't like the other female members of staff. In fact they hardly smile at all.

I would very much like to ask her out, but I have an annoying habit of overthinking things and fear of messing up. Even the amount of text in this post is a symptom of my thinking. I'd just like a little advice on what to say for asking to hang out. Without coming off as too demanding.

I'm not gonna be a whiny bitch if she rejects me, and I don't have oneitis over her. For all I know, she could be faking it just to get me to buy food there more. I'll move on and look for another if she says no. Just the fact I was able to work up the courage and ask is good enough progress for now.
