Why this is a bad question:

You're confusing high value with high SMV. From your responses, it's clear that you think the people going out and drinking and fucking on the weekends are low value, not worth associating yourself with. You're 18. That's what the high SMV people are doing. They may not be high value people, contributing much to society or going to get anywhere far in life, but they are high SMV people, in that they have social and sexual value. In other words, they fuck and don't give a fuck. If you're looking for Alphas, that's where you'll meet them, in the bars, getting drunk and fucking.
In every male society, there is a hierarchy. There is the Alpha at the top, then there are betas below him and around him, and omegas on the outskirts of this hierarchy. Alphas don't seek out other Alphas. In most hierarchies, there can be only really one Alpha at best, otherwise the society would break, as everyone would expect service and but not receive any, and there would be a lit of fighting. In order to ensure soeciety moves forward, Alphas form alliances with high value men, high betas, to further their goals and be served, whereas the high betas get social value through their association with the Alpha. This is true no matter how high. Leo Caprio, Ben Affleck and Toby Maguire-Leo's the Alpha, Ben's the beta and Toby's the omega.
If you're looking for Alphas, you're a high beta. High value, but not high SMV. Which means you don't trust enough in your own world, and need to be sheltered in someone else's world in order to feel validated. You're looking for Alphas who have established social circles to join and be seen as high value and fuck women. You're the Alpha. Your world is the world everyone wants to inhabit, be part of, be seen as part of. What you do is what people want to do, where you go is where people want to go, people want to talk to the people you talk to. Your presence and your adoration, your time is a gift people fight for. You're the prize. So stop looking for Alphas to join, and make your own cult of personality. You're 18, this is a great time to start.

This is off topic but how do you live alone comfortably? What do you do in your spare time? I am currently living alone because of collage away from family and it's devastating

In all honesty it depends on what you mean by alpha. You don't honestly want too many in your group depending on what you're looking for. Alphas have a subconscious view of a hierarchy, where they sit at the top and control most of the "group's" plans, thoughts, and inner workings. So you could make some alpha friends, then come to find they are making you go to things you are not into, or doing things you don't want to do. Alpha's are more natural at leading, but expect to be followed.

What I mean by balanced are friends who can lead and want to get shit done. Men who have goals in their life, push you to be great as much as themselves, and have a general respect for you. They'll clown you when you're being a bitch or a quitter, instead of you guys don't have the same taste in music, politics, or some other BS. The genuine BP guy friend doesn't hurt, as long as they are more classically laid back and don't wreak of "ulterior motives."

There can only be one. Having a group especially a "circle" being dominated by many alpha personalities is just asking for trouble. Alphas lead, no one in the group will want to defer if they are a true alpha. Find and interact with alphas. Be comfortable around them, just don't have them in your group.
