Hey guys,
I just wanted to note on something I’ve noticed and get a genuine communal opinion. I’m generalizing, but to me, it seems like a common thing for someone finding the sub is to go read the side bar, hate themselves for being a pussy, vow to kick the “old me” to the curb, and start working on the strict application of TRP values towards a seemingly new person. I cannot speak from personal experience as I was likely much less blue than most prior to finding the sub. But, is this the best way to go about things? There are certainly real alpha’s posting around but a lot of dudes on here, particularly the ones asking the questions, seem robotic or corny as fuck and I have a hard time imagining this doesn’t transpose to how they act in real life. Basically what I’m saying is, I don’t believe attempting to throw your own individual into the garbage before swallowing the pill is the best way to go about things. Maybe for some it’s necessary, but big time shifts in personality, particularly polar swings from beta to, what one picks up from the sub as, alpha will not carry much credibility if you’re around anyone with any sort of real social conscious. Personally I feel like I could sniff this out almost immediately. TRP is a toolbox, not an absolute social bible. Taking and applying what you need and what works best for specifically you is the optimal option over trying to convince yourself and indirectly others that you’ve sold your beta soul and bought an alpha one with the funds.
Maybe I’m wrong, some of you will likely comment that it’s better to rip the bandaid off, but it can’t all be done in a week or even a year. Believably acting like chad isn’t possible for a 5’5 manlet because he woke up the morning after reading the sidebar, convinced he could now pull it off. I love this sub, I liken it to an encyclopedia that only a lucky few have. But like I said, it’s an encyclopedia, not some bible. My advice is to have an end goal or goals you as an individual and to work progressively towards that. Not goals set out by this sub and not what other individuals have already gained or accomplished. It will be far more believable and likely far more rewarding.
Any thoughts? This concept has obviously been brought up before. I guess I just got tired of seeing questions asked under the assumption that everything is black and white and that strangers on the internet may be able to speak definitive truths about situations only the poster has any legitimate info on. Cheers to all.
