A girl I met at a mutual friends wedding have sent me a couple of random texts during the past couple of weeks.

The day I met her, I found her extremely attractive and noticed her making eye contact with me. So I went over and introduced myself, made small talk, dance and got her number.

A few days later I reached out to her and asked her when she was available to get a drink. She replied that the next few weeks for her were going to be busy but she should be free after thanksgiving break. Told her no worries and to hit me up when she knows what days work for her. After that exchange I haven’t heard from her until last week.

1st random text: I was at the gym and she sent me a gif. Confused I replied “huh lol” and her reply was that she thought she was texting her cousin. Her cousin and I apparently have the same name.

2nd random text: this was early today. She sent another text meant for her “cousin” I replied no worries.

Should I still soft next her? In my opinion she still hasn’t reached out to me directly.
