I find that women avoid eye contact with me after talking to them for a little while. Is there anything I can do to prevent that?

"Always leave on the peak of the interaction."

You can only do so much good at once. Have a positive interaction with a woman during the conversation, then excuse yourself to do something else before it has the chance to go sideways. Wait awhile and go back and you begin where you left off on a high note. Also, redirecting your attention away from a woman causes a visceral reaction where they compulsively will seek to re-center themselves in your attention.

You improve your odds by ignoring them.

Train yourself in the intricacies of social interaction. You are probably holding too much or too little eye contact, or your interaction are too long or you make a boring topic for her drag on for too long. Nuance like this is hard to teach through text, get out there and experiment.

Be brief and witty, smile then break it off. Don't be boring or try to be one of those guys in touch with your feelings, that's needy behavior and unattractive.
