For most of my life I haven't wanted kids because I had a rough childhood and didn't want another person to have to go through it, even though my parents had a good marriage and are still married.

Now that I am older (33) and have seen the reality of TRP, my faith in LTRs is broken and I'm finding myself pondering TRP and kids.

As a man's sexual strategy is to impregnate as many women as possible to ensure survival of his genes, I find myself debating the logistics of how a guy could get a shitload of women pregnant, have those kids grow up fairly well adjusted (tricky if its a single mother situation).

As bad as it sounds, the ideal situation seems to be the nightmare for any married man where you impregnate a married woman and she sells it as the dude's, then if all goes to plan it is raised in a loving home.

I guess I'm just laying the groundwork for what my philosophy will be once I'm back in the game with a bunch of plates (monk mode right now).
