Been living and working in a latin American country for about a year so far. My spanish is at the level where I can have decent conversations but I don't feel I'm at the level where I can cold approach confidently without making a fool of myself.

A lot of people speak english in this country, so I've had success with girls at the bar and through friends but I really want to start day-gaming more.

How would you go about this? Should I just go for it and stumble through the first little bit or should I open in English first and try to bust out some spanish if they don't speak english?
