I recently finished the sidebar, started The Rational Male and have been lifting for 7 months now (recently 4 times a week). If we're being honest, I'm just a little shy of 7/10. Right now, I'm 6.5. I'm slowing improving. I have a unique (old-fashioned) sense of style which had its shares of shit-tests. But it never breaks my frame. With that being said, I'm somewhat a popular guy in my university as about 50% of the people know me, thanks to the advice I got here - get a habit of talking to everyone. I'd say I'm loved. People enjoy my company. Girls' faces lighten up when seeing me. I make them all laugh and we have interesting conversations. I do my best to remain mysterious. I barely talk about my private life, my job, my income, etc. I maintain frame at all times.

Here's how a scenario would go, following my question: We have a nice talk in class, go to the cafeteria for something, I close with a number and the next day I invite them for coffee, saying "Hey, I know this great place right around the corner I'm going to. You should come :)" I've done this a few times (Less than 5) and I've never gotten any dates. Keep in mind I'm inexperienced and that's why I'm asking for advice here. Next time, they don't act cold, they pretend nothing has happened and so do I. On rare occasions, I try again and yet fail. What am I doing wrong? Is this an inevitable phase of dating, where I have to fail and learn from my mistakes?

Any advice/thoughts would be much appreciated.
