I think passion and love are two different things. Be passionate about your hobbies, be passionate about your sports team or political party. Passion is like flame that you just want to spread around. You want to share your hobbies with others, you want to campaign for your political party. You want to cheer for your sport team. Passion is good, and it's different from love.
Love is a quiet, content appreciation for people. Love your friends. Love your parents. Love your children. Love your girlfriend or spouse. Love doesn't mean agreement, or even approval, or one-sided self-sacrifice. Love isn't unconditional. I'd say it's contented belonging, appreciation.
This is not to criticise a mongamous lifelong relationship. Far from it. But if you are a man and that is the only thing your life is about then I think you will be very lucky if it works out in the long run. There are bigger things in the world.
I totally agree. Most of your energy should be re-invested back into your own well-being. Lift for yourself. Nurture your passions and hobbies for yourself. Develop for own sense of style and persona for yourself. Love yourself first; we should be so brimming with contentment, passion, and vitality for living that people naturally want to be around us to receive some of that abundance. Your woman will want some of that abundant sexiness and charm, employers want that abundant problem-solving and positive attitude, your kids if you have any, will want that abundance of fun loving and curiosity.
I am an advocate for monogamy, in the same way I am an advocate for long term friendship. Do you make new friends every year and never talk to the old ones? That's a good way to feel lonely and adrift. If you live in a big city where people constantly move in and out, you know this. People come and go so frequently friendships and relationships are like a revolving door. It leaves people feeling like an empty shell, like they are just temporarily filling a role until its their turn to shuffle off into the dark night. Exit stage left. One of the most common regrets of old, dying men is that they didn't keep in touch with old friends. Men without long term friends have more stress, are more socially isolated, and die earlier. The same for men who do not engage in monogamy. An endless string of partners, or staying alone, is not the natural order of things in my opinion.

I think passion and love are two different things.
I agree. That's why I used both words.
Love isn't unconditional.
I disagree about that. For a man anyway.
But that's not the same as saying that your actions should only be guided by love. Love and honour can conflict. The feeling of love does not come and go according to rules. You can cut loose even something you love if a higher value calls for it. Its just that it will be painful.
Most of your energy should be re-invested back into your own well-being.
Love yourself first;
I really don't agree with that. I think its a modern set of values that is most of the reason the world is the way it is today. Its a very feminine way of looking at the world. In a way, I think that approach is surrendering. I don't know that I am right on this point, but I intend to find out.

if you feel like you've made it, then stick around and help the newcomers figure their shit out. hell, make a post going more in depth into your journey, the facets and nuances that really changed your personality and outlook on life. your story may be similar to another's, and may help. that's what i feel a community like this is about, and this subreddit needs it recently.
if not and you're more for every man for himself which i get, then best of luck out there.

I have never believed in every man for himself. It comes up as answer on TRP sometimes and I completely reject it. In a way, its the most anti-masculine thing you can do. Its giving up on ever being a man.
if you feel like you've made it,
I feel like I understand it. I have not made anything. There is the problem.
I have been giving advice on this sub for a while. It feels really great to help guys along and its a big reason why I am here. I do feel like I am really helping guys here, in a very meaningful way.
But I want to do the same stuff with people I am seeing in the real world. Its great to give advice over the internet, but I want to get to the point where I can do the same thing with guys I can work with face to face.
Its also hard giving advice over the internet when your personal results are not so great.
I know the answers, at least I think I do. But one thing I realised is that unless you have actually gone out and done it, your words don't count for shit. I don't want to be that guy who gives everyone else advice on how to live life when their own life is not great. My advice might be great. It might be exactly what guys need to hear. But it also might be completely wrong and I will never know because I was not talking from experience.
One of the problems we have in this world is that we treat anyone with clever words as if they are speaking truth. I am good with words and have even convince myself of bullshit with them.
In older times you had to earn your voice by having actually done it.
I have half a lifetime of doing it wrong. I can point out your mistakes because I have made them already. But you don't get better by just avoiding mistakes. I have very little experience in living life well. I really don't know with any certainty what a guy needs to do to get it right. I want to be able to give guys help from a place of real experience. At the moment, I only have the theory.
Another thing thing is that advice is of limited value. I have learnt that what young guys need is not words. They need orders. Command. Missions. You can explain this stuff until you are blue in the face, but 300 books worth of reading won't teach a boy as well as simply forcing him to just fucking do it. Of all things I could have had growing up someone with their foot my ass forcing me to do shit was what I really needed. Character is not built by reading books. I could explain the value of X and you might get it. Or you could order you to do X and you will get it. We have this softly softly persuasion based approach to teaching people today which is getting us nowhere. I want to be able push guys along. To force them to grow. I can't do that without genuine authority and I don't have authority if I have not done it, and done it well.

With the way you wrote your post, it sounds like you've spent your time reading TRP while avoiding interaction and avoiding real change. I hope I just misread it.
Reading ideas about how to live your life, without actually living your life and actively learning what works for you, doesn't solve anything. It's just another form of fantasizing.

Life has not been in a good place for doing anything for a while. Its now settled down and I have some control. Time to make use of it.

Then please don't think you've figured out a puzzle or that things make sense now. You haven't done anything and at this point it's only fantasy.
I'm not saying that's a bad thing or that you should stay. But, it's as if you claimed to have figured out baseball, when you've only read books, and never even put on a glove yet.

Once you get the basics there is a sort of end point to Red Pill as far as sexual strategy.
Objective thinking (at the heart of Red Pill) can be applied to everything, but you tend to actually cross out of here and into /r/DarkEnlightenment if it leads you to political and philosophical matters.
I agree that man is a natural romantic... why waste it in a woman?
Congratulations, you are another Red Pill graduate. (without assuming student debt)
