Outside of dating, I have a life, I workout I have a small business I run (side project) and I also work a full-time job. I do see some friends once in a while, but I appreciate my downtime. To play video games, to read, to listen to music and to run my errands, clean the house, grocery shopping, etc.
I started dating online a while back and I've been matching up quite a bit, but the problem I have is not having enough time to see everyone and when I do - I sacrifice my time quite a bit which gets me annoyed. Also, in addition, I spend more money than I have to or want to. If I can save money, I'd prefer it.
So, I started doing this: I look for groupons and deals and activities people can join me instead of spending more money on crap I don't want to do. Which btw works out great, for anyone else tight on a budget looking to date.
But I still have a problem with meeting people because I don't want to give up my Gym time. The problem is when we talk if I wait to long to ask them out it sizzles out, we don't talk as much anymore and the opportunity is gone. Last week I was so tired and over the dating scene that I had to cancel on one date and I felt terrible about it.
look I know it's nothing to complain about, believe me I'm super grateful but I also want to be able to best organize this, any suggestions or tips? I usually have 1 night off during the week and 1 whole day available on the weekend and 1 night available on the weekend also. That's it, most of my time is consumed with work and gym and on the weekend (spending half day - doing errands, laundry, cleaning the house, grocery shopping + gym. That shit takes time.
Can anyone share some tips or suggestions in terms of how they plan it all out?
