Exactly, so maybe you should listen to him considering he has PUA in his handle and is telling you it's not the same.

PUA focus and picking up girls TRP focused on unplugging from the status quo and creating yourself to be the best man you can be, which includes but does not stop at picking up chicks.

Other posters have mentioned TRP is an offshoot from PUA. Anybody with a working brain can see the overlap. But some of you are really dumb. I don't see how anyone angrily insisting PUA has nothing to do with TRP is being "alpha."

Most of you that say that look like angry betas to me. PUA theory even mentions how a lot of betas get angry at alphas and very hostile, trying to prove they aren't beta.

You're making assumptions left and right when you should be reading the sidebar. Once you get through that if you can't tell the difference between the two you'll just confirm how stupid you sound right now.

They are apples and oranges. TRP isn't PUA. Black isn't white. Cats are not dogs. Good luck on your critical thinking assignment.

They're called observations and analysis. It's what intelligent people that can think for themselves do when presented with data.

This TRP garbage is equivalent to feminism. It's what low quality members of each gender cling to and believe because they're too stupid and too low quality to be anything better.

TRP wouldn't exist without feminism, it's just low value men wanting their own feminism. Monkey see monkey do.

PUA gives you tips on scoring chicks for the moment, like taking a single course. TRP is a life time philosophy that needs to embodied, like doing a comprehensive study for years like a Ph.D.

TRP emerged out of PUA.

The short of it: TRP was an attempt to theorize why what PUAs "discovered" via trial and error worked or didn't. TRP is both a certain way of viewing man-female sexual dynamics and advice on approaches to both sex and life taking that view into account.

For PUA alone, you could learn the methods, tactics and strategies without TRP view. Still, it would help to know that at the same time.

Finally, the observations above help explain the overlap in terminology and the focus on attaining sexual success.
