Women deserve nothing less, and nothing more than Meritocracy and Equal Opportunity.

(Aside from special treatment for the whole baby making process.)

So yeah, congrats.

Haven't seen the science, but my experience with women in STEM is that they do amazing quality work, it's usually just the vision that's lacking.

Good on this girl for having both. The world needs more young people, man or woman, with this trait.

It doesn't work.

After the conduction of repetitive experiments, unfortunately there was not an obvious electricity yield observed no matter which solution was used.

Even if you stick a car battery in a bottle of water the hydrogen yield is tiny and produces a very small amount of power. She reported 16mW for that whereas even crappy solar cells at 10x10cm produce 1W, probably closer to 2 or even 3W. The actual yield from the solution would be very difficult to measure.

And you need to keep feeding it water with specific contaminants in it.

I don't think the science adds up, but she's undeniably smart as fuck, especially for a 17-year-old.
