The only 2 LTR's I've had were both with girls who had been "abused" and "practically raped" in previous relationships. Thinking back its funny how similar both relationships were.

They both saw me as some kind of emotional sponge to soak up all their insecurities. They of course logically adopted the personas of their "abusers" and saw fit to punish me for all the hurt they had endured at their hands. Slaps to the face were common if any argument broke out as well as instigating sex and then stopping and laughing at me when I got frustrated. Whenever I got fed up they would just threaten to break up with me and go fuck someone else.

In their heads this was all justified. The worst thing about this is that in my head it was also justified. I had to be there to protect them. Be their knight in shining armour. If that meant enduring their abuse then so be it. It's funny to look back and see how much of a little bitch you were.

The only reason I couldn't take a step back and logically assess the situation was the fact that a had been brought up in the same environment. Minus the physical abuse, mental abuse was all I had ever known. Brought up in a house of a single mother and two older sisters I took a backseat and had to "be adaptable" whenever I didn't want to go shopping or sit around in the hairdressers waiting for the girls to get their hair done. Anything I wanted to do could wait until the 10th of never. I was so angry and unhappy all the time but was manipulated into believing that If I just suppressed all my anger and hate down inside me and acted "nice" everything would be fine. Of course the opposite was true. That's how the white knights and betas are born. None of them are happy but they are manipulated into believing they are. Or at least I was.

You see, everyone is a product of their surroundings. You learn what you live. Every time you see someone who you think is a "beta" or "white knight" they are there not because they have chose to, but it's because they have been raised to. That's what most people don't understand. It's hard to take a step back in such situations and realise that the thing that you think makes you happy is actually your main source of pain.

May have gone off topic then but it reminded me of my LTR'S. It's funny looking back at how stupid you were.

Regardless of the morals or qualities of the individual, no one really deserves to get beat up like that in the context of a relationship - by a professional MMA athlete no less, but imagine going home to propose to your girlfriend to find her in your own bed with some other chump. I don't know how I'd react to that in the slightest.

Not to mention the situation, if it was your girlfriends job to get paid to fuck other dudes don't you forfeit your right to be physically violent or even mad about it? The only difference is that she wasn't being paid and filmed, I can't even comprehend why she would cheat if he was already ok with her being a god damn porn star, could she not hold it off until her next shoot...
