The girl wants to have sex. "No" issues and whatever, she knows. Tinder is where people meet to fuck. She wanted to fuck.

I guess it was easy for me to swallow the BP back in the day because the feminist imperitive of "explicit and repeated consent throughout" was never difficult for me. Even my first time at 17 years old.

Quite frankly, if a girl isn't literally begging for my cock, I'll next her right the fuck out of my bed. Works every time, even when I actually don't want to fuck her.

That said I find both participants akward. If someone doesn't express desire to be with you, you're doing it wrong. That said, I certainly don't support criminalizing akward college party sex and denying people education because they don't know what to do with their genitals.

I gotta say, usually in these situations I immediately jump on the "that's not actual rape" boat, but it does sound like that was rape. Everyone's different, and not every rape follows an exact course with the same reaction from every woman. She says that she said no and he "got forceful" and had sex with her. That's all the information she really gives, and while you could assume there is more that she didn't say, going off that gives me the feeling that that was definitely rape. You can't just assume she liked it just because she didn't write it in her post, and writing something about "liking it" earlier in her post doesn't negate it being rape either, in my opinion, she's talking about a different guy in a different year.

I don't understand what's ridiculous about this post?

Girl gets felt up at a party, admits to enjoying it, but still questions if its rape. She didn't try to stop it.

Girl goes to see a guy, has sex with him. Says "he was forceful" but definitely does not mention him holding her against her will. She didn't try to stop it. She then goes on to say that she went back on a second date with him.

COME ON. She happily goes on a second date with her "rapist".

What's ridiculous is that she looks back on this, and just says "well I didn't really like it all THAT much, now that I think about it" and decides she got raped. And people just eat it up. It's far too easy to cry "rape" nowadays, when it was actually consensual. Women like her make it harder for legitimate rape victims to appear credible and get justice.

Look, I don't know what strange definition of 'rape' you are using, but according to Wikipedia, "Rape is a type of sexual assault usually involving sexual intercourse or other forms sexual penetration initiated against one or more individuals without the consent of those individuals"

I agree and told him I did not want to have sex. He then gets very forceful and he ended up having sex with me.

That's basically the definition of rape right there.

You say:

but definitely does not mention him holding her against her will. She didn't try to stop it.

It does not matter if she did or did not make an effort to stop it. She explicitly said "no" and did not change her mind and give consent later on. That is enough to make this encounter rape.

COME ON. She happily goes on a second date with her "rapist".

She's a goddamn idiot, then. That doesn't change the fact she was raped.

The guy is a piece of shit and so are you for condoning rape.

And why the fuck is this on RedPill anyway? Unless I'm mistaken, RedPill is about increasing one's value as a man, not about judging unverified stories on the Internet.

I completely disagree. It sounds like she was actually raped. There is more to it than just "he held me down and stuck it in". She sounds like a very weak-willed woman, easy to manipulate and gives in to pressure at the drop of a hat. Her friend made her go back, even though she wasn't comfortable with the situation. The guy is clearly an utter dick too, if a girl ignores your texts, leave her alone. Take the hint. Don't keep texting for a year. A year! A lot of these stories are bullshit, just some girl with regret trying to make herself feel better. This story sounds like a genuine rape. Ironically, you missed it because of all the other false rape stories you thought this was.

Being weak-willed, and refusing to actually say "no, I don't want to do this" does not equal BEING RAPED. You said it yourself: she gave in, and decided after the fact that she wished she hadn't. That is regret, not rape. That's the point I'm trying to make here.

[–]tim_tom21 point2 points3 points 12 years ago [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link

"told him I did not want to have sex. He then gets very forceful and he ended up having sex with me." from what she wrote she never said she agreed. No, u does not equate to rape. Of course not. But it certainly makes you a much easier victim. Similarly, being felt up or even having 100 one night stands does not equate consent.

[–]Turkeytom86 1 points1 points1 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

If a guy is feeling you up, and you don't try to stop him, you're not being raped. Case closed.

It's true, she's not very clear about exactly what happened. But what little she did write does not describe a rape. She makes no mention of trying to stop him, fight him off, attempting to close her legs, etc.

I literally cannot even begin to count the number of times I've taken a girl home, and she has said "we're not having sex tonight", and then ends up fucking me like a whore all evening. Honestly, I love hearing this because it means it's already on her mind, and I'm probably going to end up banging her. Sometimes I pick them up from the couch and carry them to the bed. I suppose you could describe that as forceful, if you really wanted to.

[–]tim_tom2-2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

That's a fair point. And in a lot of cases "we're not having sex" does mean "impress me and we'll fuck". However, not resisting can be from a number of reasons. How many people just hand over their wallet when being mugged? That doesn't mean they wanted to give their money away. Whilst not conclusive either way, I still feel it's more likely that she was than she wasn't. If it was a case of lmr that he worked through, why would she not keep going back? Or have had sex with him again the second time?

[–]Turkeytom86 1 points1 points1 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

She did go back though. She sure did. Didn't have sex, but she still went back. That fact alone pretty much throws all her credibility out the window, honestly.

As for the being mugged analogy, it's not quite the same. When you're being mugged there's typically a weapon involved, or some other kind of force that compels you to comply. In her case, it would be like a guy coming up to you on the street, unarmed, and asking you for money repeatedly until you just gave in and paid him off, and then you run off and claim you got "robbed". Just sighing and agreeing to something because it would "take too much effort to stop them" is called being a weak, unassertive doormat. Not a rape victim.

I have to go to bed now, but this was a good talk. I always appreciate another person's point of view.
