In my eyes this validates several RP strategies:

The importance of outcome independence and dominance in a relationship: We've heard it all before, "whoever cares the least has the most power in a relationship."

Once she knows you aren't going to leave (because you've demonstrated this to her by your beta actions) sex will diminish.

Keep her guessing: Reward good behavior. No woman wants a beta who will coddle her every needs. She wants to be chased and loves the randomness.

"Secure relationships" (4+ years) can in a way, become a beta relationship. Once a man becomes comfortable and stops swallowing the pill, he will become complacent, decreasing all the attributes and actions that attracted the woman to the man in the first place.

tl;dr: SMV and intimate attraction decreases with longevity of a relationship. NEVER STOP SWALLOWING THE RED PILL.
