If I got drunk, went home with a fatty, regretted it the next morning, and tried to report it as rape, I'd be laughed out of the police station.

I could go on for days about the University Tribunals that exist. Basically if there is even any question about sexual assault, the "defendant" (though I shouldn't call them a defendant as this isn't a legal tribunal, just a council of college administrators) is automatically expelled.

There was one case, though, where a girl and a guy were both drunk and had sex, and she tried to invoke this protection. He studied up and then said "OK, well, if she is making this charge against me, then I would like to make the charge against her."

They did laught at him. And then he made it clear that he was serious. All charges were dropped against both of them.

It's a crazy world we live in, but if you maintain your frame, as he did, then you'll get justice.

Here's a political columnist that often gets into MRA vs Feminism debates. The first part of his post is gold. He ends with a great quote:

Contemporary feminists "embrace the Victorian conceit of delicate female vulnerability while leaving out the sexual modesty that once accompanied it." That they do all this in the name of equality is downright Orwellian.

What's become of personal responsibility? Doesn't the embodiment of 'adulthood' suppose we are each responsible for the decisions we make, even if those decisions include becoming excessively intoxicated?

Great article. I'm not surprised that happened at my alma mater. Xavier was lame. I'm glad this kind of article makes it into the WSJ. This double standard is pure insanity.
