A lot of the time I see certain posts on here claiming that you must rid yourself of "time-wasting" hobbies and/or interests to achieve becoming Red Pill. Yes, if you can't help but play World of Warcraft all day then it might be time to unsub and sell your account, but I believe moderation is the key and a great way to teach self discipline.

A lot Red Pillers, PUAs and the Manosphere in general believe that you can't have life "both ways". It's simply not true in most cases. I know a lot of people with high SMV that still have "time wasting" hobbies, in fact a good friend of mine that has had multiple women in one night still collects action figures and is always excited for the latest comic book and new release game. Myself? I went from a complete beta with no game to a guy that is still learning but can pick up women quite easily now.

Myself? I schedule what I have to do in a day and don't skip the useful things. I'll never skip a workout for a game (unless it's something new that I've been incredibly hyped for) and would always pick going out with friends over watching movies. By all means, if you want to spend the majority of your day going to work, hitting the gym and learning a new language, that's fine but I believe everyone should find what works for them and what they actually want. You can still watch/read fiction (for some reason the manosphere seems to hate fiction media) and be successful. You can still be hyped for a new movie, TV show and/or game and be an alpha pulling chicks, just don't let it run your life.

TLDR - You can still let your hair down every once in a while and become more alpha and Red Pill, just don't let any of it control your life. Learning how to moderate and control your time is a valuable skill to learn.
