You misinterpreted what he wrote. He is comparing how men and women rate whether a woman is physically attractive. Women, based on what his wife has told him, rate other women based on how they wear clothes. Men, in his view, rate women based on how they look naked.

Well your headline is flat out wrong and misleading. His wife never said "men only look at a woman's body when they evaluate attractiveness."

In fact, his wife never commented on how men view women. The wife only commented on how women perceive other women.

Secondly, you are really stretching with "appearance of the face magically disappearing". Betas don't think "men will hook up with butt ugly girls as long as she has a nice body". Sorry, that defies logic and experience.

ScalpelBurn, your title is wrong and misleading because you took the first part of a sentence discussing topic A and combined it with the second part of a different sentence discussing topic B.

It is completely equivalent to your quote, "Whereas men find women attractive based on if she can wear fine clothes nicely and has a naturally pretty face" based on what you wrote here
