I am/was the same! I am a complete pussymagnet on dancefloors to the point it's ridicilous, always have been and i'm also pretty short at 5'8" . I’ve had this problem before too. I’m pretty good at dancing and having fun in the club but I’ve also experienced this frustrating situation where my game is thrown off when the girl actually joins me. I’ve since gotten better at this by doing a few things. First thing is I try to treat the dance floor as a chance to have fun and dance to music. Even when the girl joins me I try not to smother her with attention. Just do some simple and fun dancing with her. Don’t make it too complicated. Show her she can mess up by you messing up too sometimes. I’ll usually intimidate some physical contact too but I don’t go too strong on the dance floor. Keep it about the music and dancing together. In fact anytime I don’t know what to do I just fall back to the beat of the music and enjoy the tunes. I think this helps her take her mind off of trying to flirt and just have a good time. I think in the club people will sometimes try to hard.girls are kind already playing a defensive game because there’s so many guys just trying to make out with her and get physical. I think if you keep it about the music she will be greatful that she found someone that she can relax around.
