This comes down to an issue of balance.

I remember it being a running issue with FlyFreshAndYoung's Generation Nihilism blog back when it was still up. You could tell his level of game didn't have to be that high for him to get the results he wanted.

People usually tend to underestimate the influence of looks. If the girl is already attracted to your looks, you have to spit less game out to get the bang. This is an indirectly proportional curve. More looks = less game needed, less looks = more game needed.

Generally I find if a guy is good looking and not nailing em' quick and easy he fucked up one thing: hyper masculine aggressive escalation.

This is actually the general problem most guys have though, good looking or not. The guy who wrote in sounds like he doesn't pack much of a punch when it comes to going for what he wants. Actually it sounds like he's playing mexican standoff when it comes to bridging to sex, which we all know will get you nowhere.

But trust me when I say good looks will never be the reason you didn't get laid.

Edit: And while the author makes the spot on point that extremely high value will make girls very aware of how they behave around you. There is no woman on the planet that doesn't have an arousal "breaking point," and good looks only give you bonus points to getting there faster.

Remember: attraction + arousal + location = sex

It really is this simple, and the first two are always easier if you're good looking.
