She’s the only girl I’m with at the moment but I‘m not really interested in a relationship.

We had sort of known each other for 3 years but only recently got together. This dynamic makes it really interesting to me and the sex is great and she’s good company but fuck me the texting is tedious for some reason.

She always texts first and when we text it feels a little platonic. It’s usually spread throughout the day, not constant.

It feels like a bit of a catch 22. If I completely stop replying she’ll eventually lose interest but if the texting stays like this I think we’ll both get bored.

I normally don’t have problems with texting. I’m convinced it’s to do with the fact we were platonic acquaintances for a couple years.

Would like to hear thoughts on this. Have you had similar experiences? What eventually happened?
