This is a false correlation and the Canadian researchers should be ashamed for making this statement. The number of women you sleep with have nothing to do with a lower risk, it's the number of times you ejaculate that matters for your prostate. So jerking off can also reduce the risk.

That is good news. it is strange that it doesn't apply to gay sex, though, since:

Gay men had significantly lower rates of prostate cancer but higher rates of other cancers.
