I responded in the main thread. Damn so much cope with the evol psych.

And children love old men who look like Santa because back in the day a man of age showed he was a survivor and the brighter the red on his clothing the fresher his recent kill. Evol psych copes are so fun. You just subscribe to the hippy noble savage myth add some homo eroticism and run wild with it. But you have to ignore the obvious historical and current media manipulation that has been well documented forever and pretend we're all just living in a state of pristine nature.

EvoPsych can seem pretty arbitrary, most of the time it’s people taking a pre-school conception of caveman life and trying to find an origin for behaviour there.

Some of the most extreme proponents of blackpills are bound to not be 100% correct - women may like manly men but still fall for pretty faces mega chads like Bowie, and chicks may prefer caucasians because of colonial propaganda being ingrained in western media culture but still fall in love with K-Pop stars, etc, but I don’t feel that disproves the fact that the men who most viscerally turn on women are tall, large, symmetrical, and sexually dimorphic. Every other post on this sub leads to that other conclusion. Women prefer less extremely masculine faces for their partners and the reason this is more prevalent in poorer areas without western media may be because of lack of commitment by the male populace out of either greed or inability. It does disprove the blackpill that women prefer masc traits for signs of strong immune systems, as that would lead areas with less sanitation to prefer more masc faces.

All in all no matter how much effort goes into getting everyone to love Ariana Grande or whatever it has limited impact.

There's always gonna be a pushback of people who prefer indie rock. Tastes are just like that but given a choice between a bunch of indie bands and one direction no shit there's going to be a statistical boost toward one direction.

I don't know if I'd call it "higher quality" versus brute force average representation.

We know that people like the average composite packaging associated to the contents they like. Just don't forget that there's never been a time when the roots of Hollywood weren't racist. Even in Britain we had black face shows up until the 90s I. E. Black and white. And casting calls still refer to people as ethnic and non ethnic.
