I've spent a fair amount of time on TRP. Lately I've been feeling like I've wanted a more targeted outlet for information on game, relationships, and sex, amongst others, so I've been perusing ReturnOfKings (sidebar). It's excellent stuff.

It discusses how most of us were led to TRP (or its equivalent), how we became players, and ultimately, what all successful players share: Clarity of Intent. In other words, are you a plate spinner or are you looking for a relationship? Because mastery requires your behaviors to remain consistent throughout your day for success in either. The post recommends discipline and deciding before you even engage with women. Because otherwise frame can slip and you have something you didn't want on your hands.

I am torn, and this is why I wrote this post. I've had 2.5 years of virtually no female interaction (health issues) but before then I had a fair amount of game. As I return to my feet, I'd like to try out a relationship (never had a serious one, always a plate guy). However, the desert-of-a-social life has me wanting some plates. My roommates are all non-focused on women and thus unable to comment productively, so I turn to TRP to see if you've:

1) Defined Intent for yourself already and if so

2) What factors led you to this choice?

Additionally, and I know this is likely going to sway answers towards me, but I live on a big 10 campus right now with 20k women walking around and I'm 23.
