So as you read down through askTRP, ask yourself ”Would this guy’s situation be better if he was maintaining sexual relationships with multiple girls?” Because the answer to the question is almost always going to be ”Yes.” No staying in bad relationships because of lack of abundance, etc., etc.

I’ve struggled with this idea too. At what point do you want to surrender your autonomy? When do the benefits of this woman outweigh the alternatives inherent to your lifestyle? How valuable are the other freedoms you desire? Having a woman, a good one, can make life pretty fantastic. She can also make it hell, sometimes without notice. If you’re not ready to settle down but you’ve already committed to her things will likely not go well. You may be excited because it’s new and fresh and exciting, but once that phase ends and that old itch starts coming back it’s going to be much more difficult to plate her if you want to add another. Ultimately the choice is yours. Just remember we live in funny times. And I don’t mean ha ha.

You don't necessarily have to have sex with plates. You can friend zone girls, or just give enough attention to keep them interested without anything ever getting physical if you and your LTR have agreed to be exclusive. Women do this shit ALL the fucking time with their beta orbiters. Even when they are married they still want that male attention. Just do the same. Have female friends that you talk to and meet with even if only once in a while. Flirt with baristas, waitresses, nurses, etc. A mistake a lot of new nake is minimizing all female interactions when they enter an LTR, then they find themselves lonely and having to start over when their gf starts to monkey branch. Women never do this. They always have a back up plan tlwhen their in LTRs, and they always have beta orbiters to go to for emotional support when things aren't going with the Bf. Do the same thing. Always keep women around, whether or not you're fucking them.

You don't have to plate other girls, but you should definitely try to plate HER, because you want to get to know what kind of person she is before committing

I would just keep a list, and if she's your favorite girl she's at the top of the list. You call her first when you want to do anything with a girl. If she's always available to you and you're perfectly happy there's no reason to call #2 on the list.

If you're calling her up and she's not making herself available to you, call your second favorite, etc. If you're going out with #1 and she's not fun to be around, next time you want to go out call #2 first. Maybe you find out #2 is actually a lot more fun to be around than #1. Well, time to re-sort your list.

If your number one girl is keeping you perfectly happy, there's no practical difference between that and an LTR except you're not making any promises or commitments and you're not throwing away your list.

Whenever I see these kinds of questions, it is always the guy who is pressing for a relationship and exclusivity. He's scared to lose his unicorn princess. And that never works because these guys are way more into the girl than the girl is into them. You shouldn't even be concerned with this question until you are seeing multiple girls and one of them is eagerly requesting you to be in a relationship with her, not the other way around. When you are in that position, you'll be prepared to handle it appropriately. Until then, don't be one of those men who gives away commitment early and to anyone, and whose commitment girls thus find to be worthless.
