I posted this because I can imagine how many other men need to know.

It’s the core principle of all of manhood and Red Pill, but it seems like most advice I find gets lost on tangents.

Real things I can do to organize my life, inside and out.

Ground myself.

Develop discipline.

Increase vision.

Focus on a mission.

Be a superior man.

And what those even mean.

Books and videos also welcomed.

My personal story:

I’m 23. I’m a musician, sound engineer and now a producer at an internet radio station.

I now realize just how important it is to maintain my mission and sense of control. Everything I’ve heard and read from other men... I’ve gotten a glimpse of the strife. It’s painful, but there’s worse pain. It’s part of the growth so I try to smile through it.

For the curious, here’s my current situation and wake-up call:

I had a LTR, that was going amazingly and fluid. My friends are shocked that we’re on a break. She’s gorgeous, sweetheart, feminine, submissive, and my type of weird.

She started pulling back on intimacy, last time we had sex was almost a month ago after she got off her previous period. My power went out and I just pinned her to the wall and went to town. We both came several times.

But some women want more than hot sex.

A few days ago she packed up most of her stuff to go back to her place, when we were just days before cooking dinner together and laughing or going to karaoke night to blow off stress.

Ya know... Romance stuff.

Went from hitting me up all the time and staying the night often to extreme distance.

Basically, life was demanding more from us as individuals. To name a few factors: She became GM and worked 50+ hour weeks at a popular winery, I switched to a job she was uncertain about, my roommate (whose parents maintained lease) ran into trouble and is suddenly moving to Cali with a month left on the lease, her cat had a litter that destroys her room, my car is falling apart, I got sick for two weeks, and both of us had a lot of keeping up to do...

so she got stressed and took some space and cancelled plans with me for Memorial Day.

I was confused, I thought we were overcoming everything as a team. The anxiety was getting the best of me and distracting me from my work. I’d workout, meditate, read, write... Didn’t know if she wanted to break up or build up. So yesterday I couldn’t stand it when I woke up, I grabbed the rest of her things and went to her place with flowers. Let her know I care about her, and I respect her wanting to take care of business, and give me the space to do the same. I asked her what’s on her mind to help me understand how I can help best... She shut down. Her room was in chaos. She had nothing to say other than cry, say “I don’t know” and that we both need space... She’s diagnosed anxiety and was starting PMS when she grabbed her clothes.

Maybe she cheated, and felt guilty (doubt it). Maybe she saw all the girls hitting me up social media and thought I was cheating (tempting when they have a bigger ass or tits, but nah). I am aware of abundance, but prefer monogamy. I want a family. When something is good, it’s worth fighting for... and yes, sometimes the best move is walking away to let dust settle— maybe never look back.

I definitely could’ve handled things better and I lost my total sense of self... hindsight is 20/20.

I’m going no contact for at least 9 days, when her ovulation cycle will peak so she’s most inclined for passion. It’s a side quest as far as I’m concerned, and I gotta whole life ahead of me. There’s more women out there if it doesn’t work out.

Best way to learn and grow.

As you can tell by the contents, I became more focused on being happy with her than on my own happiness.

I conclude she lost respect and ability to trust my leadership, as my living and work situations got thrown curves balls in two weeks without me having enough control for her to feel safe leaning on me.

I’m putting my life in order, priority number one.

I want any advice and philosophies on it y’all got.

Thanks!
