I'm a coward, I've been raised and trained to be a coward since I was a kid. As such, I've let everyone step on me, manipulate me, intimidate me, and boss me around in hopes of keeping peace only to lose job after job, get constant rejection, have bouts of retarded, immature anger, I call them "hissy fits", and can't change anything in my environment.

Any attempt I make to make change or assert myself usually comes off to people as whining or leads to me being threatened to be kicked to the curb. Which happens anyways because I can't keep a job or because people just don't like me because I'm, "weird".

I don't know what to do other than act out and rebel completely and enter vagrancy, or politely obey everyone until I can hopefully start a freelance career.

So tell me this: How can someone who's been a coward and subservient all his life, possibly know how to properly assert himself while in a situation where he's constantly reliant on others?
