I don't know about you guys, but I am in a few online study groups and have also met some girls in the past that cannot seem to say one sentence without mentioning their boyfriend.

I'm just trying to understand why these girls do continuously mention "my boyfriend knows x person, my boyfriend did this, my boyfriend that...my boyfriend, etc.." Is this some sort of projection of insecurities that they need everyone to know that they're in a relationship? Or is this a beta signalling behavior where the girl wants the world to know she's dating a cuck?? The context of these namedrops are usually positive. They basically just gloat that they have a bf every fucking chance they get.

Trying to understand why for no reason but to understand why there are some girls like this. Thanks
