Part field report with a legitimate question at the end -- I'm trying to process everything. Yesterday I walked in my city's Pride parade. I'm personally straight as a razor, but I'm into politics so I walked with a candidate. Plus there were alot of cute straight and bi women there.

After the parade, there was a huge festival. Me and some buddies walked a few blocks away to get lunch at a quieter restaurant. While waiting for our food, some girls approached and asked me to take their picture. I did, then struck up a conversation. They had watched the parade and were just chilling. The one girl seemed receptive to me, asking what I was doing later, etc. So I got her number and said we would meet back at the festival after lunch. I'll call her Morgan.

Me and my buddies ate. They left, but I hung around because obviously I had some business. I stood outside of the restaurant for a few minutes to collect myself and figure out how to get back to the festival. Then another girl approached. I'll call her Alyssa. HB8 in my opinion. She was hot af dressed in rainbow colors. I've never fucked such a good-looking girl, admittedly, but this turned out to be a perfect opportunity. She asked where the party was at. I replied, "I'm walking there right now, come with me." So we did.

We connected right away. She's fun. However I could tell she was spoiled materialistic, and highfalutin. Plate potential at best. During our walk, she suddenly stopped and asked me to take pictures in front of this cool-looking gate. She posed, posed, posed, posed, posed. I said, "You be Instagram modeling, huh?" She said yup. In my mind I thought, "She's shallow as fuck but we're about to have a great time." Good seque into swapping social media and phone numbers.

We arrived at the festival. I showed her around. I had a decent social confirmation because I knew quite a few people there. Some of Alyssa's coworkers were there too so she met with them. We were just bouncing around, checking out all the vendors, watching drag shows, having a good time. I think I did a great job of leading her. I also built kino to the point where she initiated contact pretty often. We drank our fair share of alcohol too. She was straight because her and her coworker briefly chatted about her ex-boyfriend.

At one point Alyssa and I got separated. I did not chase her down. Instead I found some other friends and chilled with them for awhile. Then I got hungry, so I bought some food and sat down by myself. Alyssa texted me then asking where I went. So I told her. She found me and we relaxed. She took alot of pictures and videos for Instagram. She even took some of us together and posted them.

She started complaining that her phone was about to die, and she was hungry, and she still wanted to party but didn't want to go back home to change clothes just to come back out later. So I made a plan. We would get an Uber back to my place, she could charge her phone, then we could eat and hit up a bar. Obviously my plan was to f-close. She said yeah that sounds fun! But she needed to use the bathroom before we left. So I waited for her outside. As soon as she stepped out, she started chatting with some woman, who was with a group of people. Apparently they also had plans to hit up a bar, and they invited Alyssa. They invited her and she walked away with them. Didn't even look at me. Nothing. Gone. I was like...wtf???

I thought, fuck it I'm not chasing her around, and hit up Morgan from earlier. The night turned out pretty well after all ;)

I just checked Alyssa's Insta. She definitely had a wild time. Damn, I ain't gonna lie, I would've had a tough time keeping up with her anyways. It seems like she just wanted to get wasted and make bad choices lmao.

My question is: based on this context, where did I go wrong? How could I have improved my game? Why did she abandon me for some random people? If she texts me now, how should I respond?
