So theres this girl I work with that I can tell is into me. I knew this a few months ago when I was looking for a gf (I'm an LTR kinda guy) and she was on my radar. She made me kinda mad one day because I wanted to hold a conversation and she's so quiet I swear to god I felt like I was talking to a wall with eyes just smiling at me. So I stopped talking to her and pursued another girl (my current gf who I'm not really into anymore). Now that I'm looking to spin plates or something she's back on my radar, but only because she's more talkative after I pulled back and she looks for me at work...theres only one problem. Like I said I'm a talkative guy and I make friends easily. I have a buddy at work who told me he's into her but he's too scared to go talk to her. I told him like 100 times to just do it and he refused because he was scared. Everyday he passes by saying, "I saw her over there" but when I tell him that she's nice and he should ask her out he just says, "uh I don't know about that".

I'm ready for my downvotes but here goes. I feel bad about possibly breaking his heart by taking the girl he likes. In highschool there was this girl I liked and I told a friend that I was gonna ask her out. Let's just say he wasn't a friend and he text me like a week later saying he was at her house, "hanging out" (probably fucking). I learned a valuable lesson about moving too slow, but I never talked to that guy again. I don't wanna be that asshole guy. I'm a softy, and I don't like fucking people over. I wanna be a good friend and treat people right

What do you all think? Should I not give a fuck about my buddy's feelings and take her for myself or should I respect the bro code and keep pushing him to take her?
