Get the number, and then do what feels right. If the interaction was very charged, go for it the same night, invite her to the place you were already going, or the next.

If it was a little less heated, wait a few days and then call her "about that drink" or whatever you closed with.

For instance, cute neighbor girl comes to my front door yesterday, shes new to the neighborhood, just moved in 3 days ago, wanted to see if I had any parking spaces available as her landlord sent her to me (this happens). I tell her no unfortunately not, I get this a lot, but let me get your number in case you ever need anything, welcome to the neighborhood, yadda yadda.

She comes inside, is obsessed with my cat, mentions something about texting me just to come hang with my cat, target acquired. I get her number, basic BS, she leaves.

I text her later on and invite her to the bar im going to that night after I've done all my shit for the day, she declines becuase her friend who helped her move in is taking her out, but suggests maybe next week and that I can give her a "grand tour" of the neighborhood.

I tell her i charge for grand tours, but I'll buy her first beer. She says OK. I'll give it a week or so and then invite her out again. Theres no pressure, I truly do not GAF and honestly am a little apprehensive about sleeping with a woman who lives so close to me, but whatever, I'll see if shes atleast fun to be around and go from there. I mean, shes got friends here too, so, fuck it.

The point is, read the environment and dynamic, strike when the iron is hot, and give no fucks about the outcome.

I'm kinda new to cold approaching myself but usually I ask them out on Wednesday for that friday or saturday. Just call them, say i'm going to X place at X time and ask her if she wants to tag along.

For exemple, if I meet a girl on Monday and I get her number, I'll call her up on Wednesday and say something like 'Hey, this is AuberyBitoni from the other day, I'm going to X city this Friday. let's grab drinks at 8pm afterwards.'

That's how I'd do it, call her, give her a time and place, that's it.
