Girl i’ve been seeing is incredibly into me, constantly trying to see me, mentioning how good looking I am constantly.

I’ve kept frame around her well enough, shown her I’m emotionally/physically strong.

She just messaged me about her friend dying and how she has no idea what to do and her heart hurts. Not really good at comforting someone when this happens as I personally get over it and know it’s the cycle of life. How can I comfort her in this hard time and remain and “emotional rock” for her?

I was going to say “I’m sorry for your loss, i’m here if you need me/want to talk about it.” Not sure if that’d be the right thing to do or what in this case.

Any suggestions of dealing with this from anyone, not just any girl i’m into in particular?
