Girl works in the building across from where I work and we both were at the same event about 2 weeks ago. Recognized each other and started chatting, shes about a 6/10 and I figured should be easy. She continuosly mentioned her ex etc and was showing big iois. The following week i saw her outside and asked her to go get lunch, we went and i executed well in terms of conversation, sparking her interest, negs, and letting her know I am interested in something sexual and not platonic etc. However later that week I saw her again and in my attempt to escalate via touch, was turned down. There was also a cold vibe this time which wasnt there before. I decided perhaps I look like im chasing, and I didnt get the go ahead on escalating, so I pulled a soft next for a week. During this period i saw her outaide and got the middle finger from her, to which I smirked and kept walking. I re initiated contact again a week later and she seemed super happy to talk, so I thought it had worked however when I asked her to go out I was rejected because “I had ignored her for weeks”. I see her occasionally and purposely speak with other girls around her but I have gone relatively ghost. Thoughts on what happened here and if/where I went wrong? Also advice moving forward? Thank you
