Yes men and women both seek validation. We are social mamals, the less dependent your mood is from other peoples validation the more valuable your validation becomes.

People confuse material Comfort and Emotional connections. By acquiring money we gain comfort i.e. luxury cars, mansions, expensive phones..but you feel better when people are connecting/appreciating you and that's because we are social beings by nature.

Humans seek to be understood/validated. In my opinion, people like this are weak and will never be satisfied. Get away from the concept that happiness is an achievement or more a state of mind.

Yeah and this can be a lot of things with women. This sums up why "push-pull" and not being too available work. She needs to miss you, feel like maybe there is someone else. Its almost like a game to her. The sense that she could lose you makes her feel different around you because most guys are available, transparent, predictable, and overall as a result: BORING.
