I just want to post because some of these threads about picking up women are very delusional, deceptive and quite frankly, take advantage of some you guys' goodwill and hearts. Of course there are exceptions. I just dont' want other people to be deluded into thinking some magic formula or game or pickup line works.

First truth which is very very difficult for most men to accept is that women are largely visual. Maybe the greatest lie ever told by society is that "women don't care about looks bro" all the while women spend hours and hours obsessing over their looks, thousands of dollars on looking better, getting fit to solely look better than the women next to them to attract some guy she is attracted to. IN FACT...when you actually ask women what their interests are...many will say something that is to some degree "visual". Such as "I like to go shopping with my friends" (so I can look better), "I like watching movies" (with attractive people in them), "I like to try new restaurants" (but can't/don't/won't typically pay the full-bill). Obviously there are exceptions, have the courtesy and sense not to mention them.

That said ...try to be and look your best. Oftentimes you only see the happy-couple aspect or the fucking aspect without seeing the dark underbelly of many relationships. I have personally heard women say they would be homeless if they weren't supported by their boyfriend or husband or some such reason to stay in a relationship with them. Also most women get over the dating Justin Bieber dreams by the time they hit their teens (except the ones who are actually attractive and actually do go on to dating whomever they have their eye on).

Be your best self. Sex isn't that great especially with someone who isn't attracted to you or is attracted to you for the wrong reasons. You will feel like you are being used. Remember women who want to have sex with you don't need to have you spend money on dinners, be a comedian or help them move into a new apartment but never call otherwise. Even celebrities get swindled into thinking their friends may enjoy their company when it may in fact just be the perks of hanging out with a celebrity (which are numerous from what I've heard).
