Not what you want to hear, but what you need.

You can study and watch videos and all kinds of shit. But at the end of the day you still have to interact with a person, face to face. Most friendships are directly tied to physical proximity, as in, how much time you spend around that person. Also, most friends are people you have things in common with.

If you go out of your way or over the top at work or in a social setting people will think you're weird or trying to use them.
