This subreddit is about discussing books that that you think may have a meaningful impact on those who read them. Trolling or drama will not be tolerated, be civil with each other. 1. Posting guidelines

As of this post, your title must be Book name - Author. You may also add some context to make it more personal(eg: How Fight Club started my journey of self improvement (Chuck Palahniuk) Posts not following the title format will not be approved

Each posting must also include a way to legally obtain the book.

2. Review

Each posting must have a review, the more extensive the better. You are free (and encouraged )to review other submissions as well not bound by this format, any discussion is welcomed. People need to understand why they should bother with reading something.

Please use the following simple format:

  • What's it about?
    A short intro about the book.

  • Who's it for?
    Explain who can benefit most from this book from reading it.

  • PROS
    At least 4-5 reasons why you would recommend someone this book. What's so good about it?

  • CONS
    Every masterpiece has its flaws. Here you warn our readers about what you consider lacking or misleading.

  • Final thoughts
    Your conclusion about the book. Also a rating from 1 to 5 (5 being highest) about the quality of the book.

  • Excerpt and further reading (optional)
    your favorite excerpt from the book and further reading (different media, reviews, discussions etc) You can add anything related to the book in another comment.

3. Be Red Pill

After you understand how the process works your hardest task is not finding the book but presenting your argument. The goal is not to find books considered Red Pill , your goal is to help others getting there. Most books have a lot to teach if viewed from the right angle, a cautionary beta tale, female romance novels and the most comprehensive how to's each can help someone get some new perspective, the basic tenants of /r/TheRedPill
