Paying attention to the lessons will deliver much better returns over your entire life. This goes double for spelling and grammar.

Game them in the hallways, cafeteria etc. Invite them home.

This reminds me of the time I was in grad school. The class took a 10 min break and this one guy who tries way way way too hard to get attention (tries to be funny, tries to be too social, try to be a teacher's pet) was talking to his project group members.

The class was pretty quiet so everyone could hear the conversation.

He was saying how the group needs to hang out with each other outside of class. But it was obvious that he was trying to get the two girls in his group to hang out.

Both girls said "no" in the nicest way possible. He kept going on and on how about how they need to come out. And you can see how uncomfortable the two girls were.

It was really cringy and you can see everyone's facial expressions in the class looking uneasy as well. Even caught a few people laughing.

After about five minutes he gave up and the only person that accepted his invite was the other guy in his group.

Point is, don't be that guy. There's a way of talking to the girls in your class. It's a class setting so keep it at that unless the conversation naturally carries over to somewhere else.

Thats kinda creepy, if u have good reason to talk to her then do so. Try to make it related to the class, but please don't do any weird note passing creepy 5th grade thing.
